How could I not stop and shoot in these gorgeous vineyards of Napa Valley, California? We had a spectacular sunset but only a few minutes before we had to be at the airport to leave for Boston.

A very busy 2009 meant that I missed taking a lot of personal photos. This year, I am going to truly enjoy taking a moment to catch every minute of warm glorious sunshine with my 7 year old.

They’ve known each other since they were little. And though they each have unique and very different personalities, they still can’t wait to see other and play!

It’s still a bit cold here and certainly the sunset is closer to 9:00 pm. But what glorious light at sunset!
