Blue and Gold – Autumn in the Southern Coast

The Autumn holiday for school kids was this Thursday and Friday and I could not resist the chance to go out and shoot in that gorgeous afternoon light.
These images were taken at two locations, each about 30 minutes apart. We left golden sun at the first location only to look up and see the sun permanently disappear behind the clouds at the second location. This is life in Finland in the Autumn months – when golden haze changes to somber clouds.

Andrea, you’re photography could single-handedly triple tourism to Finland!!! The photos are absolutely spectacular. As a newcomer to your blog, I went all the way back in your achives and was just enchanted with all of the photos. I want to come to Finland!
