New Article On Location Scouting Is Out!

I once again have the pleasure of having an article in the very upscale photography magazine Design Aglow. I’ll be in issue 11. My article is on location scouting and includes information on what makes a good shoot location, obtaining permissions and permits, and creating a field journal that becomes a one-touch reference when choosing session locations.

I am very proud to have been asked once again to contribute an article to Design Aglow Magazine.

My first article was an in depth tutorial and discussion on using textures and blends to create unique photo art. That article was featured in Design Aglow Issue 3: The Art Issue.

This current article, published in Design Aglow Issue 5: Success, is about creating a brand and distinctive style – and includes a tutorial on getting rich and perfect color.

Sure, you could put it away in a box and hope your daughter or daughter in law won’t be horrified by the ‘out of date’ style when it comes time to pass it on. Or, instead, you can put it to great use today and do a fashion shoot in unusual locations. Why not send it out in style by running it through blueberry bushes or floating it in a crystal clear Finnish lake.

My newest texture blend set is now available for sale on Design Aglow. The set, called True Romance, is all about style and modern treatments to hip images. I still use antique textures to give the blend that unique character that only age brings.
