Lecture/Workshop

It’s just two weeks until I have the pleasure of hosting a rare in-person workshop for photographers.  I’ll be working with Melody Hood of Inammorata Photography to teach all the important techniques and skills that make a good image into a wow image.

The workshop features 3 days of instruction, a small group of photographers (under 10 total!), a great location (Chattanooga, Tenn), and two very dedicated instructors.

I have a VERY limited number of private one on one tutoring times available in the Northern Boston area.  This can be for post processing, photography technique, or both.  I am available November 11-14.  Sessions for 1-8 hours, $75 an hour.  If you wish to fly in, I can arrange transportation from Boston Logan Airport using the Flyaway bus to Woburn City.

In addition to my work with Ajaton Joki, I am frequently asked to provide paid tutoring services.  I am now proud to announce  the creation of The Photographers Learning Resource.  We’re a group of dedicated photography business owners, from portrait artists to wedding photographers, who will be providing tutoring services in a variety of formats.  From webinars to classes, workshops to training videos, we want to provide the most modern and effective skill building services to help beginner and intermediate photographers develop their skills.

I will still be taking commercial and private clients.  But I also greatly look forward to work with photographers on a more personalized basis.

I’ll be in the Boston area the first two weeks of September and have very limited personal tutoring slots available.  Tutoring topics include: post processing, raw/LightRoom/Photoshop, photography and using a camera, and learning to shoot with the environment in mind.

I have been a part of an amazing set of sessions here – maternity on the Jersey shore, a bridal session on top of an iron bridge spanning the Delaware, teens in vintage 1960s trains… I LOVE my work!  And a big thanks to Amy Ortiz of Saje Photography for her wonderful hospitality during my time there.

How cute are these two?  And a big thank you to Mel for going out and getting some great clothing from the Zara store.  I rarely get to photograph boys in Zara clothing and this was such a treat!  Here are some from the session!
